One of us watched his father live with dementia in Ireland and found nothing that helped through the long quiet hours of the day. Touchscreens were a barrier. Apps were a dead end. Today’s AI waits for you to know what to ask.

We wanted no one in his place left without a familiar voice to talk to, and no family left wondering how the day went. So we built Amara: a phone that already feels familiar, speaks first, and knows their story.
